LUCRETIA SNELLING UMPHERS, 97, died on Dec. 26,
2009 in Lawton, OK, with burial there. She was
born on Feb. 2, 1912 in Frederick, OK to Orange
C. & Delia Redeker Snelling. Lucretia attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1930 & Ranger
Jr. College at Ranger, TX. She married Audie T.
Umphers who died in 1961. Her siblings were Thelma
Snelling Haynes (RHS-1934), Elma O. Snelling (RHS-
1932), Lois Snelling Day (RHS-1934), and Merle
Snelling.
