Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1935

NORMAN E. RICHARDSON, 89, of Ranger, TX passed away on May 28, 2006 at his home, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger. Mr. Richardson was born on Dec. 4, 1916 in Mingus, TX to Willie Nash and J. L. Richardson. He married Lennie Bailey in August of 1936 in Ranger & she preceded him in death on Feb. 9, 1998. Norman was an U.S. Army Veteran. He worked for Adams Grocery Store as a butcher until 1949 and then he moved to Morton Valley where he ranched, farmed and was a dairyman. Norman was a member of the Southwest Cattlemen's Association and former member of Farm Bureau & Soil Conservation. He attended the Mountain Top Church in Cisco. He was preceded in death by a brother J.L. Richardson, Jr., a sister Eula Richardson Simpson (RHS-1933), a daughter Kathleen Richardson Lilley (RHS-1955) and his wife Lennie. At the time of his death, Norman was survived by a daughter Norma Jean Richardson Carnes (RHS-1955) of Ranger, five grandchildren; Danny Meroney, Ron and Robbie Lilley, Linda Meroney & Cindy Carnes Wakimato. Three great-grandchildren; Casey Meroney, Chantel and Charles Lilley, also four nieces and nephews; Luanne Wallace, Brenda Massey, Jack & Bill Richardson.
