BILLIE FRY SMITH, 83, of Granbury, TX formerly of
Ft. Worth and Ranger, TX, died on July 13, 2007 at
her home in Granbury.
Billie was born in Ranger on Jan. 13,1924 to Herbert
Lee Fry and wife Mayme Martin Fry. She attended
Ranger Schools and graduated in the Class of 1941.
Her first marriage was to Ralph Campetti in a double
ceremony with her classmate, Dora Robertson in 1944
at Fort Worth. That marriage ended in divorce and
she later married Breon Smith in 1958 at Mineral
Wells, TX. She was a beautician.
She is survived by her sister Betty Jo Fry Bennett
(RHS-1953) and husband Lowell. Sons; Mike Campetti
and wife Gail, Domecq Smith, and wife Peach and Deon
Smith and weth. Grandchildren Stacy Elliot and
husband Cody, Adam Campetti, AnnaLotte, Franz and
Friedrich Smith and Michael Hale and great-grand-
children Spencer and Grayson Elliot.
Her friend and classmate, Dora Robertson Niska
(RHS-1941) died two months after Billie.
