BURNESS VEAL KELLEY, JR., 85, passed away on
May 14, 2010 in Bowie, TX, with burial in Bowie.
He was born on Dec. 7, 1924 in Ranger, TX to Burness
V. & Sybill Tankersley Kelley. He attended Ranger High
School in the Class of 1943 & the University of Texas.
Burness served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and married
Greta Gay who died in 2011. They had a premature baby
girl born in 1951 & lived in a number of places including
Fort Worth, Laguna Park, Clifton, Whitney, & Bowie. His
siblings was Lella W. Kelley & half-siblings were Jimmy
F. Kelley & Sarah La Wanna Kelley.
