GEARLDYNE HATTON GILL, 90, of Bellevue, TX,
passed away on April 2, 2016, with burial in
Bellevue Cemetery.
Mrs. Gill was born March 17, 1926 in Moran, TX to
Omar & Ora (Rumfield) Hatton. She attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1943 at Ranger, TX. She
married Gordan Gill in 1947 in Fort Worth, TX.
Gearldyne worked in Transit & Bookkeeping for Fort
Worth National Bank, as well as running the Gill
Angus Ranch in Bellevue. Mrs. Gill was a member of
the First Baptist Church in Bellevue. She served
as a Duchess for the Clay County Pioneer Reunion
in 2011, and was a member of the Angus Association.
She loved cooking for the kids on Wednesday night
services at the Bellevue Baptist Church.
Gearldyne was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband Gordon Gill, and an infant brother.
Survivors include 2 daughters Marcia Miller and
husband Gary of Bellevue, TX, and Carol Smith and
husband Bob Dickerson; 5 grandchildren, Cody Miller
and wife Emily, Clint Miller and wife Jane Ellen,
Justin Smith and wife Chanel, Lindsey Smith-Walker
and husband Bobby, and Lauren Smith; 2 great-grand-
children, Ethan Walker, and Camdyn Miller.
