CARL WILSON "BUD" HARDIN, 57, was born on
March 13, 1925 to Mr. & Mrs. L.J. Hardin of Ranger,
TX. He attended Ranger High School in the Class of
1944 but entered the U.S. Navy in 1944. He married
Erma Williams (RHS-1943). Carl died on Sept. 17, 1982,
while living at Joshua, TX. A brother, H.L. "Bill"
Hardin (RHS-1943) lives in Joshua. His sister
was Betty Joy Hardin McClure who died in 2008.
His children were Carla Elaine Hardin, Gary Wayne
Hardin, and Daniel Webb Hardin.
SISTER: BETTY JOY HARDIN MCCLURE, 80, a
homemaker of Joshua, TX died on Aug. 6, 2008, in Fort
Worth, with interment at Caddo Cemetery in Joshua.
Betty was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Ranger, TX to Luther
Joseph & Mary Vila Mace Hardin. She married Delbert
Dale McClure in May of 1946, in Fort Worth. She was a
member of First Baptist Church of Joshua, the Order of
Eastern Star, the Joshua Chamber of Commerce, and was
a Girl Scout leader for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband
of 54 years; a brother, Bud Hardin (RHS-1944); and a
sister, Wanda Hardin Rouse.
Survivors: Son, David Dale McClure and wife, Kathy,
of Joshua; daughters, Cynthia Lee Easton of Joshua,
Kathie Anne Teuscher of Houston; brothers, Bill Hardin
(RHS-1943) and wife, Jo, of Joshua, Darrell Hardin and
wife, Madge, of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; 14
great-grandchildren; numerous other family members;
and many friends.
