LOLA LORRAINE HOWELL WITHERSPOON, 83, passed
away Aug. 11, 2010 in Alamogordo, NM, with burial
in Sunset Memorial Gardens at Odessa, TX.
Lola was born March 17, 1927 in Ranger, TX to Aora
Perry Howell and Bertha Lee Graves Howell. She
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1944.
In 1945, Lola married Charles David Witherspoon
in Ranger.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband & a sister, Madeline Howell Kirk (RHS-1940).
Survivors include her daughters; Charlotte Moore
of Lamesa, TX, Darlene Criner of Camarrillo, CA
and Linda Bambach of Alamogordo, NM; eight gran-
children; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters,
Lila Merritt of California and Wanda Howell Sherman
(RHS-1942) of Texas & Betty Fitz Morris of Oklahoma;
one brother, Perry Howell of Texas.
