T.K. HARDY, JR. died in Dec. of 1997 and was in the
Ranger High School Class of 1947 at Ranger, TX. His
older brother Kenneth Hardy was in the RHS Class of
1946 & a sister Jane Hardy (RHS-1949). An older sister,
Dorothy Hardy Creel (RHS-1944), is deceased.
T.K. was a Bulldog football player and played football at
Ranger Jr. College and at North Texas where he was a
member of the Geezles social fraternity and the "T" Club,
athletic lettermen. He later served in the U.S. Marine
Corps and graduated Texas A&M where he was schooled as
a veterinarian. At North Texas, he met Sally Ann Snell of
Lufkin and they were later married. They had four daughters
and they lived in Denton where T.K. practiced veterinary
medicine and also was employed by the area horse racing
commission in monitoring the race horses at the local
tracks.
