HELEN McANELLY ADKINS, 62, was the daughter of
Stanley & Helen McAnelly, born Nov. 16, 1930 in
Ranger, TX. Helen died on May 16, 1993 in Houston
and was in the Ranger High School Class of 1947.
Her brother, Stan McAnelly (RHS-1956) lives in
Dallas. Her aunt, Katherine Heatly, was a faculty
member at Ranger High School in 1945-47 and earlier.
She was married to Dr. A. Thomas Adkins and they lived
in Houston. Their three children were Mary, John Thomas
and Robert Stanley Adkins. Five grandchildren include
Edward John Barrett III, Andrew Thomas Barrett, William
Tyler Adkins, Kristen Elizabeth Adkins and David Michael
Adkins. Dr. Adkins resides in Houston, TX.
