OLLIE "DOAK" MEREDITH SIDES of Lewisville,
TX, was a beloved husband, father, grandfather,
great-grandfather, Christian and Texan. He closed
his eyes to his earthly home, and when he awoke,
he was meeting his Savior in eternity on Oct. 24,
2023, with interment at Mt. Marion Cemetery in
Strawn, TX.
Doak was born on Jan. 11, 1932 in Ranger, TX, the
son of Ollie Frank & Ethel Irene Sides. He attended
Young School, Ranger High School in the Class of
1949, & Ranger Jr. College.
Dora Anne, his beloved wife, and Doak were able to
celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary on Aug. 13.
He was a retired minister and wanted everyone to
know the message of John 3:16, "For God so loved
the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have
eternal life". He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army
and was proud of representing his country.
He is survived by Dora Anne Stockard Sides, his
loving wife. His daughters Mern Nichols of Mesquite,
TX and Dawn Zoschke and her husband Dan of Thomas,
OK. His grandchildren Atalie Blount, & her husband
Justin, their children: Amelia and Oliver; Ezra
Zoschke, & his wife Kelly, their children: Isaiah,
Brinley, Hezekiah, and Presley. Asa, and his wife
Nanette, their children Azariah and Anastasia.
Jeremiah Nichols, & his wife Emily, their children
Hosanna, Havilah, Shalom and Simeon. Meredith
Nichols, of Lewisville, TX. Elijah Zoschke, and
his wife Meghan, their children Elisha, Eliana,
and Zechariah. Rebekah Ramyar, and her husband
Nasir, their children Sahar, Zaki & Yosef. Zeke
Zoschke of Dallas, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ollie Frank
& Irene Sides.
