JUNE BURNETT COX, 60, died in Sept. of 1991. She
was born in Ranger, TX on June 26, 1931, to Opal
Hamilton & Nathan P. Burnett. She was a member
of the Ranger High School Class of 1950 & married
to Gene Loyd Cox (RHS-1948). She and Gene moved
to Beaumont in 1950 where he was employed by Mobil
Chemical. June retired from being a hairdresser
after 16 years and enjoyed being a homemaker,
mother and grandmother. She had two brothers,
Bobby Burnett and James Burnett, both in the RHS
Class of 1954
