WILLARD "BILL" RATCLIFF SWANEY, JR., 86, a retired
Pharmacist after 60 yrs. of service, avid fisherman
and Elder of DeSoto Presbyterian Church, of DeSoto,
TX, passed away on June 23, 2020, with burial in
the Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
He was born on Aug. 30, 1933 and attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1950 at Ranger.
Bill was preceded in death by his first wife: Ann
Sadler Swaney. His sister was Fannie Swaney Hatten
(RHS-1940).
He is survived by his wife of almost 31 years: Nina
Kay Swaney; sons: Willard R. "Cliff" Swaney, III. &
his wife Beth, Matt Swaney and Colin Swaney & his
wife Christine; grandchildren: Stephen Swaney, Ryan
Swaney and Blake Swaney, a host of nieces & nephews
and stepson: Derek Hopp.
