BENNY LEE GAILEY, 60, died on June 18, 2000, with
interment in Mount Marion Cemetery at Strawn, TX.
He was born Dec. 30, 1939, at Strawn to Nick & Selma
Gailey. Mr. Gailey attended school in Strawn and
graduated from Ranger High School in the Class of 1958
at Ranger, TX. He was a farmer and rancher and served
two years in the U.S. Army National Guard. He married
Verna Napier in 1964; she preceded him in death. He was
a member of the First Baptist Church in Strawn.
Survivors at the time of his death include his mother,
Selma Gailey of Ranger; one son, Rhyne Gailey of Arlington;
two brothers, Byron Gailey (RHS-1952), Bobby Gailey (RHS-
1951) of Strawn; one sister, Beverly Gailey Eddleman (RHS-
1956) of Ranger; numerous nieces & nephews.
