ADDIE NINA VARNER BISHOP peacefully entered
her eternal rest on Jan. 4. 2024.
Addie was born in Ranger, TX on June 20, 1940 to
John T. Varner & Ruby Esther Barnes. She attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1959. Addie
married James H. Bishop in Sept. of 1965 in Ranger.
She was a member of the Cornerstone Assembly of
God church in Stephenville, TX. Addie had a true
servants heart, taking care of and serving others
as a nurse. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening,
and especially loved and appreciated beautiful
flowers. Addie's absolute pride and joy were her
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, & great-great
grandchild. Addie also dedicated time reading
and studying her Bible.
Survivors include her husband, James H. Bishop
of Stephenville; children, Florence Duncan of
Stephenville; Rebecca White of Garland, TX; and
Roy Varner and wife, Lanetta of Caddo, TX; grand-
children, Lori Sundblad and husband, Mike of
Waxahachie, TX; Joe Duncan of Waxahachie; Cody
Duncan of Waxahachie; Jeremy Duncan of Stephen-
ville; Sherri Creech and husband, Justin of
Kilgore, TX; Mitchell White of Garland; Taylor
White of Trenton, TX; great-grandchildren, Caty;
Caleb; Carissa; Rain; Jordan; and Jaelyn; and
great-great-grandchild, Eli.
