Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1961 RJC

Leatrice Hill Lamb LEATRICE ANN HILL LAMB, 71, of Valley Mills, TX, passed away Oct. 1, 2013 at her home, with burial at the Valley Mills Cemetery. Mrs. Lamb was born on April 3, 1942, in Dallas, TX to Warren & Jettie (Lambert) Hill. Leatrice graduated from Ranger High School in the Class of 1961 and attended Ranger Jr. College at Ranger, TX. She married William Lamb in Sept. of 1962 and to this union three children were born. Leatrice had lived in Valley Mills for the last 18 years. She retired from National Lloyds Insurance in Waco, and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Temple, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Stanley Hill. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. William Lamb; one son, William Lamb Jr. and wife, Tamera; two daughters, Stephanie Davis and husband, Mark, Donna Holmes and husband, Jerry; two brothers, Gary Hill (RHS-1962) & John Hill; a sister, Kay Hill Oerline (RHS-1966); & eight grandchildren. BROTHER: STANLEY EARL HILL, 72, of McKinney, TX passed away Oct. 17, 2012, with burial in Ridgeview Memorial Park at Allen. Stanley was born May 17, 1940, in Ranger, TX, to Warren S. & Jettie L. (Lambert) Hill. He married Eva M. Sikes in Nov. of 1963, in Rockwall, TX. Stanley graduated from the University of Texas Arlington with a BBA in Accounting. He was a licensed CPA. Stanley was Vice President of Management Information Systems for Gifford Hill Inc. in Las Colinas, Division Controller/Management Information Systems Director for the Southwest Division of Sully Miller in Long Beach, CA, President of Greg Hill Custom Homes in Plano, and served as Director of Construction for Habitat for Humanity in Dallas. He is survived by his wife, Eva M. Hill of McKinney; sons, Greg Hill of McKinney and Lance Hill and wife, Eileen of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; grandchildren, Madison Hill, Morgan Hill, Miles Hill, and Gwendolyn Hill; sisters, Kay Hill Oerline (RHS-1966) of Midland, TX and Leatrice Hill Lamb (RHS-1961) of Valley Mills, TX; brothers, Johnny Hill and Gary Hill (RHS-1962), both of Pocatello, Idaho; and numerous other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Lycia Ann Hill.
