MILBURN DEAN HARRISON, 76 of Ranger, TX passed
away on May 25, 2021 in Eastland, with burial in
the Necessity Cemetery.
Mr. Harrison was born Aug. 4, 1944 in Breckenridge,
TX to Woodrow W. Harrison and Jewell O. McPherson
Harrison. He attended Ranger High School in the
Class of 1964. After high school he entered the
U.S. Army where he served for 28 years having tours
in Korea and Vietnam receiving many awards medals
including the Purple Heart. He finished his military
career in 1990 with the National Guard in Breckenridge,
TX. He was a truck driver and loved hauling scrap iron.
He was a member of the V.F.W. He married Barbara Harrison
in June, 2011 in Eastland. She preceded him in death. He
was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Smith.
Survivors include his children, Don Chandler (Darla),
James Paul Mayhall (Michaelyn), Susie Harrison, Chuck
Goodman, and Michael Goodman; a brother, John Graves;
a sister, Irene Whittington; grandchildren, Billy Joe
Jernigan (LoraLee), Craig Stephenson (Caytie), Will
Chandler, Kira Wells, Blake Mayhall, Jordan Mayhall,
Marilyn Mayhall, Katie Mayhall, Kimmie Squyres, Brooklyn
Mayhall, Parker Mayhall, and Dallas Mayhall; 12 great-
grandchildren; and special angel and friend, Jenny
Ainsworth with Alpha Omega.
