RANDALL MAHAFFEY, 72, of Garland, TX, passed
away on Dec. 22, 2021.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 PM to
3 PM on Saturday, January 22, 2022, in the West
Room of the Connelle Hotel in Eastland, TX.
Randall was born on Nov. 15, 1949, to Charles &
Marie Ramsey (RHS-1937) Mahaffey in Ranger, TX.
Randall grew up in Ranger and graduated from
Ranger High School in 1968. He went on to
receive his Bachelor of Science degree from
Tarleton State University and then his Master
of Business Administration degree from the
University of North Texas. His career as a
Certified Public Accountant and Auditing was
spent with the cities of Abilene, Garland and
Denton. After retiring he felt & pursued his
passion in voluntary service with organizations
such as Habitat for Humanity Care-A-Vanners, The
Fuller Center for Housing Disaster Rebuilders
Christian Group, and the Baptist Men. The needs
for support took him throughout the cities and
communities of multiple states providing a
Christian presence.
He is survived by his wife, Suellen Wiggins
Mahaffey of Garland; daughter, Kristin Spears
& husband Russell of Hewitt, TX; two grandsons,
Corbin Campbell & Logan Spears; brother, David
Mahaffey (RHS-1966) and wife, Danna of Round
Rock, TX; sister, Cheryl Mahaffey Taylor (RHS-
1969) of Krum, TX, three nieces, a nephew, and
cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed in
the name of Glioblastoma Research and Treatment.
