ROWLAND WADE HONEYCUTT, 66, of Ranger,
TX passed away suddenly on Nov. 23, 2022.
Rowland was born in Borger, TX on June 30, 1956
to Jesse and Frankie Evelyn Tedford Honeycutt.
He attended Ranger High School in the Class of
1974 at Ranger, TX and married Linda Lou Rice
at Ranger in July of 1975
Survivors are his children: Lori Lynn Honeycutt-
Phillips (RHS-1995) and Jerome Phillips of Forney,
TX, Nathan Wade Honeycutt (RHS-1997) and Shayla
Honeycutt of Ranger; grandsons, Seth Austin Smith,
Zane Floyd Honeycutt, Jesse Dave Honeycutt; sisters:
Barbara Honeycutt Burkhaulter (RHS-1977) & Chester
Burkhaulter of Whitney, TX, Brenda Honeycutt Evan
(RHS-1978) and Curtis Evans of Whitney; & 4 grand-
children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse
Honeycutt; grandson, Wade Honeycutt; and father-
in-law, Floyd J. Rice.
MOTHER: FRANKIE TEDFORD HONEYCUTT was
promoted to her eternal home with her Lord & Savior,
Jesus Christ on Jan. 13, 2024
Frankie was born to Lonnie and Ruby Tedford on June 25,
1939 in Ranger, TX. She married Jess Honeycutt in July
of 1955.
Frankie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years,
Jess Honeycutt; sisters, Pauline Pike & Pearline Caddell;
brothers, Lonnie Tedford, Billy Tedford, Alton Tedford,
and Cecil Tedford; son, Rowland Honeycutt; grandson,
Brandon Evans; and great-grandson, Wade Bascom Honeycutt.
Survived by her daughter, Barbara Burkhaulter and husband,
Chester, and daughter, Brenda Evans and husband, Curtis;
her daughter-in-law, Linda Honeycutt; sisters, Barbara
McEndree and Ruby Boney; her grandchildren, Lori Phillips
and her husband, Jerome, Nathan Honeycutt and his wife,
Shayla; great-grandchildren, Seth Smith, Zane Smith,
Jesse Honeycutt; and a host of nephews, nieces & friends.
