ELVERA "BEBE" GOMEZ TAYLOR, 50, of Ranger,
TX died on April 8, 2009, with burial in
Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger.
Elvera was born on Nov. 16, 1958 in Eastland,
TX to Roy and Helen Castro Gomez. She grew
up in Ranger, TX & was a graduate of Ranger
High School in the Class of 1977. Elvera was
a graduate of nursing school at Ranger College.
She married Troy Taylor and he preceded her
in death. She lived most of her life in Ranger
except for several years spent in Irving with
her husband, when he retired they returned
to Ranger. Elvera worked as a LVN for Ranger
General Hospital, Western Manor Nursing Home
and Eastland Health Care for many years. She
was member of St. Rita’s Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband, a brother Lee Roy Gomez (RHS-1982)
and a nephew Justin Jones.
Elvera is survived by two sisters Delores Gomez
Jones (RHS-1976) & Tammy Gomez Hodnet (RHS-1985)
both of Ranger, two nephews Michael Gomez and
Halsten Hodnet. And great-nephew Michael Lee
Roy Gomez.
