DONNIE (DONNY) P. DOSSEY, 62, of Ranger, TX
was born July 1, 1960 to Annie Belle Hunnincutt and
passed from this life on June 7, 2023.
He was born in Floydada, TX and attended Ranger High
School in the Class of 1979. He married Wanda Jo
Johnsten in June of 1981 at Eastland, TX. He worked
as a master welder and worked for Texas Railway for
5 years. He had a boxing club and taught boxing to
the boys and girls of Ranger from 1976 to 1980. He
loved fishing, camping, & spending time with family.
Donnie is survived by wife; son Corkey John Dossey
(RHS-2004) and wife Raven of Mesquite, TX; daughters,
Stephanie Acevez of Fort Worth, TX, Amanda Jane Dossey
and husband Blaine Hudson of Ranger, Phillis Jean and
husband Klifton Boggs of Coahoma, TX; brothers, Kenneth
Clark, Charles Clark, Glen Clark, Jimmy Clark, & Bobby
Fambro; sisters, Linda, Vickie, Freda, Shirley, and
Judy; and 10 grandchildren.
Donnie is preceded in death by his mother & a daughter,
Pamela Kaye Dossey.
