COLEMAN GARY WILLIAMSON, 63, passed away June 13, 2004
in Abilene. Burial was at Bullock Cemetery near Ranger,
TX.
Mr. Williamson was born on Oct. 29, 1940 in Rochester to
B.L. & Nola Jane Barksdale Williamson. He married Ella
Voncille Wells (RHS-1960) in Nov. of 1960 in Ranger. He
had resided in Morton Valley, Breckenridge, and Ranger. He
worked for M&F Well Service in Breckenridge and also did
ranch work. He was a Baptist.
At the time of his death, Coleman was survived by his wife
Voncille, of Ranger; children, Lavonne Hopkins and husband
Jimmy, Gary Williamson and wife Tammy, and Alan Williamson,
all of Longview; brothers, Joe Williamson of Morton Valley,
B.J. Williamson of Abilene, Malcolm Williamson of Eastland,
S.L. Williamson of Eastland, and C.W. Williamson of Morton
Valley; sisters, Clara Patterson of Albany, Willie Hudman
of Albany, Virgie Beutel of Eastland, Lucille Patton of
Eastland, Syble Hamrick of Eastland, and Shirley Notgrass
of Cleburne; grandchildren, Ashley Hopkins-Sharpless of
North Carolina, Ryan Hopkins of Longview, Megan and Kelly
Williamson of Tom Ball, and J.W. (Cole) Williamson of
Longview; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents & a brother Varner
Williamson.
NOTE: His sister, Shirley Katherine Williamson Notgrass,
died on July 21, 2017 in Eastland, TX. She was born in
1937 at Morton Valley, TX & married Roy Lee Notgrass Sr.
in 1954. Roy passed away on Oct. 12, 2020 at the age 87.
He was born on June 20, 1933 in Nimrod, TX.
