Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1939

Electra Pearson ELECTRA "PEE WEE" PEARSON, 77, passed away on March 6, 2000 in Temple, TX, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX. She was the daughter of the late L.R. & Vera Pearson. Electra graduated from Ranger High School in 1939, and attended Texas Christian University. She served as a Corporal in the WAC's during World War II. After her discharge she worked in Dallas for a year before coming home to Ranger and working for her father in the oil business. She was a life member of the American Legion, a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ranger, where she was active in many of their programs. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, Lee Roy, Jr. Pearson (RHS-1941), Champ Pearson (RHS-1951), and Lynn Pearson Heath (RHS-1943). Survivors at the time of her death include two sisters, Mercedes Pearson (RHS-1943)of Brownfield and Beth Pearson Cosper (RHS-1949) of Odessa and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
