WESLEY "DONK" JOHNSTON, 51, of Ranger, TX passed
away Dec. 31, 2008, at a hospital in Fort Worth,
with burial at the Bangs Cemetery in Bangs, TX.
Donk was born July 5, 1957, in Ranger, where he was
a resident for most of his life. He attended Ranger
High School. Donk was a truck driver and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father, John W.
Johnston; biological mother, Jean Irene Johnston;
and brother, John W. Johnston, Jr.
Survivors include daughters, Jennifer Johnston of
Wichita Falls, Richelle Jones of Brownwood, Amber
Wells of Longview, Amber George of Breckenridge and
Chandra Griffen of Snyder; mother, Phillis Johnston
of Ranger; brothers, James William Johnston (RHS-
1980) of Lake Brownwood and Joey Phillip Johnston
(RHS-1984) of Ranger; sisters, Melba Johnston Roberts
(RHS-1979) of Gorman and Wanda Johnston Dossey (RHS-
1981) of Ranger; six grandchildren.
