MELBA JANE JOHNSTON ROBERTS WRIGHT,
60, of Gorman, TX passed away on May 13, 2020
at her home with family by her side, with burial
in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Gorman.
Melba was born on Aug. 13, 1959 in Brownwood to
John Wesley Johnston & Jean Irene (Rust) Johnston.
She attended Ranger High School in the Class of
1979 at Ranger, TX. After Melba graduated high
school, she attended college for two years. She
married Quintin Wright in July of 2019 and they
were married until she passed away.
Melba is survived by her husband Quintin Wright
of Gorman. One son Thomas Shaylor Roberts of
Albany, TX. One daughter Shannon Jean Darville
of DeLeon. Two brothers: Joey Johnston (RHS-
1984) of Ranger; and James Johnston (RHS-1980
of Ranger. One sister Wanda Johnston Dossey
(RHS-1981) of Ranger. Also 6 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one
brother Wesley Johnston (RHS-1976).
